Fukishima Still A Huge Problem

Scientists and other are calling for more extensive testing of food and lower level radiation in the wake of the Fukishima nuclear disaster. The Government who has been misrepresenting the dangers of the situation from the start, and continues to slow play the issues. A plan for contamination clean up is due “sometime in late August”. In the meantime experts are alarmed at radiation levels being found in food and far from the disaster site.

Seems that every other day you hear about a breakthrough in battery technology. Whether this technology ever makes it in to production we don’t know. What we do know is that the sheer number recent “breakthroughs” means that electric car batteries are sure to make major strides. Compare this to the slow struggle in solar where small efficiency gains seem to be elusive.
